Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verified Clean AI (the "Service"), operated by Verified Clean AI ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Verified Clean AI provides AI-assisted cleaning inspection tools for short-term rental, hospitality, and property management operators, including photo capture, automated analysis, report generation, and workflow tooling.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.
• Plans are billed immediately at checkout and do not include a free trial. If a trial is granted to an account, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends, and canceling before the trial ends results in no charge.
• Access to paid features depends on the selected plan and active subscription status. If a subscription expires or is canceled, access to paid features may be limited or suspended while customer data remains protected in accordance with our retention policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Upload content you do not have the right to submit, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
• Resell the Service without a written agreement.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of photos, reports, property data, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not sell Customer Content, and we do not use it to train third-party models.

6. Customer Inspection Data

The Service allows you to submit inspection-related content, including photos, videos, property information, and inspection records. You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions, rights, and consents before submitting such content, including permission from property owners, tenants, guests, or other affected parties. You represent that you have the legal right to capture, upload, and share this content through the Service.

7. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with inspection analysis and report generation. AI-generated results, including detected issues, scoring, and recommendations, may be incomplete, incorrect, or require further review. AI output is provided as a decision-support tool only and is not a substitute for human judgment or a final inspection. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated findings and making the final approval or rejection decision for any inspection.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or modify features at any time. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers or events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or activity that risks harm to other users or the Service. On termination, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow export, then delete it.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Verified Clean AI is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
